  • Why are the lefthand scissors different from others?

    The edges are manufactured and mounted inversely.

    Why?
    • The left-hander can now see the cutting line of the object he cuts.
    • The scissors aren't pressed apart anymore by the thumb of the left hand!
    • The bigger scissors have grip moulds shaped especially for the left hand.


  • Why is the lefthand knife different from others?

    The cut of the knife is sinistral.

    Why?
    • The left-hander's pressure moves "dexter" knives away from the object he cuts.
    • A slice of bread, e.g. ,which is cut by a left-handed person, is thick at the top and thin at the bottom.
    • A knife with sinistral cut facilitates exact cutting for the left-hander.
    • Pocket knives, e.g. have the nail dent on the right side and all their parts are designed for left-handers if necessary.


  • Why is the lefthand fish knife different from others?

    The fish knife is manufactured inversely.

    Why?
    • The fish knife is edged for its special task.
    • A fish knife for right-handers in the hands of a leftie? Impossible.
    • The left-hander was forced up to now to cut up his fish with the aid of two forks.


  • Why is the lefthand corkdriver different from others?

    The corkdriver's spiral turns in the opposite direction-sinistral.

    Why?
    • The hand's thumb determines the direction of turning during the transmission of force.
    • It is the right thumb when a right-handed person is concerned, otherwise it is the left one. i.e. a left-handed person is naturally turning in the left direction!


  • Why is the lefthand tin opener different from others?

    The tin opener is manufactured and mounted inversely.

    Why?
    • The transmission of force for a right-hander takes place over the right thumb, for the left-hander over the left one.
    • The left-hander is turning in the left direction!


  • Why is the left-hand araspagus peeler different from others?

    It is manufactured inversely.

    Why?
    • A left-handed person has to hold the knife away from his body when peeling.
    • With a lefthand peeler, he can work in the direction of his body-like a right-handed person usually does.


  • Why is the lefthand fountain pen different from others?

    It is especially designed for the left hand!

    Why?
    • The left-hander writes with the left hand. Using a "normal" fountain pen, he would be pushing the quill against the direction of writing.
    • The quill of a lefthand or calligraphy fountain pen is specially shaped to fit into the left hand.
    • In addition, some of the lefthand fountain pens possess a grip mould that is especially handy or shaped for the left hand.


  • Why is the lefthand pencil-sharpener different from others?

    It is manufactured inversely for the left hand.

    Why?
    • The thumb determines-again-the direction of rotation during the transmission of force.
    • It is, for right-handers, the right thumb, for left-handers the left one, i.e. the left-hander is naturally in t turning in the left direction!
    • The pencil sharpener has an opening for the pencil suitable for left-handers and an inversely manufactured and mounted sharpening knife. The right hand holds the sharpener and the left one turns the pencil into the sharpening knife. The lead breaks so less often.


  • Why are the lefthand ruler, the lefthand inch rule and the lefthand tape measure different?

    The lefthand ruler begins with a 1 on the right side!!

    Why?
    • The left-hander writes with the left hand.
    • Would he use a "normal" ruler, the left-handers' pen would prick the paper if he tried to draw exactly. Else, he would need to draw and measure "backwards" (30-29-28-27-and so on.)
    • Moreover, his hand would cover the scale.
    • Such problems are obsolete with a lefthand ruler.
    • A lefthand inch rule and lefthand tape measure can be read correctly, i.e. he doesn't need to hold it upside down or to count the centimetres backwards.


  • Why is the lefthand boomerang different from others?

    It is manufactured inversely.

    Why?
    • The left-hander can't get a "normal" boomerang to fly back, he will throw it backwards!
    • The boomerang possesses two differently shaped flying shanks which, additionally, have a special cut- like a propeller.
    • For these reasons, the left-hander needs a boomerang specially manufactured for his left arm.


  • Why are the lefthand sickle and the lefthand scythe different from others?

    They are manufactured inversely.

    Why?
    • The left-hander's transmission of force is determined by his left arm, he's mowing to the right.
    • The right tools in the right hands prevent accidents.


  • Why is the lefthand purse different from others?

    It is manufactured inversely.

    Why?
    • The coins compartment is situated on the left side when the purse is opened.
    • The compartments for ID and other cards are situated on the right side.


  • Why are the lefthand saucepan and the lefthand ladles different from others?

    They are manufactured inversely.

    Why?
    • The spout is situated on the right, so that the left hand can pour without getting burnt.
    • The small lefthand saucepans and lefthand ladles are also ideal for right-handers who want to pour with the left while stirring with the right.


  • Why are the lefthand files different from others?

    They are manufactured inversely.

    Why?
    • The left-hander files and writes with the left hand.
    • The lefthand file offers easy access for left-handed persons. The file opens to the left, its mechanism is operated to the left side.
    • The lefthand index help the left-hander to keep order.
